It was playing baseball in Cooperstown as a 12 year old that was one of the best experiences of my life, and the highlight of my baseball career. Our team from Pacific Palisades, CA placed 3rd out of 104 teams from around the world, which was an unforgettable accomplishment. However, the best part of the trip was getting to play baseball with, and even trade pins with players and kids of all different ages and from all different places. That experience increased my love for baseball significantly and showed me how great of a game it is not just to the players, but to families and everyone else as well. This has made me always strive to continue playing baseball, and also to enjoy the game and share the special moments of the game with others.
I have been playing baseball since t-ball and have been an all-star since pinto league, and my love for the game and determination to continue playing at the next level led me to achieve the MVP award last year as a freshman on the varsity team. As a three-sport athlete and a member of the honor roll both years of high school so far, I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete at the college level, but the character and work ethic as well to make a significant impact on your program.
