Baseball has made me into who I am today, and I will forever be grateful for the way the game has molded me into the young man I am today. Most importantly it has taught me self- discipline, by learning how to fail on my own and battling through the mental hurdles that occur throughout the long seasons. I have developed a discipline in training whether it’s my meals, gym workouts, fielding workouts or academics. Baseball is a game of failure and I feel the way I have routinely trained has prepared me for any adversity I might face at the next level. I have consecutively been nominated as the Team Captain for Excelsior Charter Middle School baseball team 7th and 8th grade seasons. I am an athletic catcher with the ability to be a true utility player to help my team win championships. I believe I will bring strong leadership skills, and a team first mentality to any team I play for.
When I was 10 years old, and I was selected for the local little league all-stars and the game was almost ruined for me through that experience, however from that moment on I realized this was my passion to play baseball at the collegiate level and blessed with the opportunity to play baseball for 4 more years was a dream I wanted. I started playing travel ball and progressing very quickly with my hard work and dedication. I played for my middle school baseball team the past two seasons where I was named Team Captain and Offensive MVP for the league as well as the top catcher in the league with defensive stats.
I am open to any school that has Physical Therapy or Engineering as majors. I am looking for any competitive school that will allow me to showcase my skills at the next level and fulfilling my life long dream of playing collegiate baseball.
