I am very motivated to do whatever it takes to play baseball at the college level - it is my passion. I believe I am a team leader and that my teammates respect me and appreciate my leadership. I am also 100% a team player and understand the importance of being respectful to my teammates and coaches.
I have played on many different teams over the years from T-Ball through Little League, Babe Ruth, multiple travel ball teams and now with my high school team. These opportunities to play with many different players and coaches allows me to easily fit into any team and role. I know that given the right opportunity I can thrive and be a valuable member of any college team.
My years with the Woodland Patriots travel ball team are what really impacted me the most as far as wanting to play in college. We were 7 and 8 years old when we started. It was basically the same group of guys the entire time and we had such great team chemistry and friendships. We all worked hard to improve and move up levels, reaching AAA, and in our final year together we took the championship in every tournament we played in, including in our final tournament in Phoenix Arizona - during Spring training. Our coach, Steve Davison, was so passionate about the game and he taught all of us to love and respect it.
I am also a strong student and place a high value on my academics in addition to pursuing baseball. I plan to pursue a major to prepare me for law school (and become a lawyer like my mom), or in the field of sports psychology or sports business marketing and management, so that I can always somehow be involved in sports, preferably baseball. I am also on my high school wrestling team, am an avid golfee and am scuba certified.
