Summer 2020Personal Statement
My name is Davon Wolf and I will be a 2021 graduate from Brush High School in Brush Colorado where I currently hold a 3.3 GPA. I am a 6'3'' 185lb 3B, 2B, UTIL/RHP that is a passionate and driven individual that strives to be the best at what I do. I am originally from Kansas and moved to Colorado about 10 years ago. I played for High Plains Little League and High Plains Mavericks (Club Team) in Falcon Colorado for 5 years. Then we moved to Brush Colorado about 5 years ago. I play for Brush Baseball during the Spring season and share the field during the summer with the Brush Baseball Club and the 19u Buckley Bombers. In 2019 Brush Baseball Club won the Northern Plains Summer Baseball League winning against the 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th ranked teams. When I am not playing baseball I have been working with a pitching coach and working out about 6 days a week. I am looking for a college that will first allow me to pursue my Sports Medicine degree and then gives me the opportunity to pursue my passion for playing collegiate baseball. I look forward to finding the right program that allows me to grow academically and athletically.

- 10/04/2020 - All-In Membership - Parker (Denver), CO. Davon is a tall, athletic 2B/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed is above average as indicated by his 7.28 60 time. At 2B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers ground. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open, crouched setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, he showed a controlled / repeatable delivery that allows his arm action to work well to the plate. Fastball showed range of 78-79 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a feel for pitch with cutting action. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Davon has potential with time and room to progress his game.
