Personal Statement

My goal regarding college is to obtain a mechanical engineering degree in addition to playing baseball at the next level, helping a team compete within their conference and beyond.  I am a firm believer in the term student/athlete.  I have worked hard to participate in 3 sports while maintaining above a 4.0 grade point average in high school.  By competing in cross country and track, in addition to baseball, I have consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic along with time management skills.  I’m confident these traits will help me continue to be successful in college.  Being well rounded will assist me in adapting to whatever school I attend.  I am the President of our Future Business Leaders of America chapter and a 3 time state competition qualifier.  In addition, I am the President of our school’s Skills USA team and President of the National Honor Society.  I consistently work on becoming bigger, faster, and stronger, enhancing my athleticism, and ability to compete at the next level.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
