Nicholas Leonard '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nick Leonard. I am a Class of 2014 Varsity baseball player attending Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, CO. I am a 6'2", 175 lb, right-handed pitcher. I have been playing baseball for as long as I can remember. I played on JV and Varsity as a freshman and was a starting pitcher on Varsity as a sophomore. Since the summer of 2012, I have played for the top Colorado Slammers club team where we compete against some of the top 18U teams in the country. I was also selected out of the Mountain West region to participate in the USA Baseball NTIS in Cary, NC. These achievements are a testament to my incredible work ethic and constant drive to be the best player I can be. My love of the game motivates me to work hard and aspire to be the greatest player I can be. I also desire to complete a college education at a highly academic institution while playing baseball at the highest college level possible. This drives me to work hard in the classroom as well as on the baseball field. I plan to maintain exceptional marks in school and be an exceptional player on the field in college and beyond. I desire not only to be a member of a college baseball program, but aspire to be a large contributor to the success of that team. I am willing to do whatever it takes to support my team and win games in any way possible. I hope to accomplish all this while being a role model to my peers and maintaining the highest standards of personal integrity.
