I want to play competitively in college, at any level, at a school with competitive academics. I love the sport and the team aspect and playing to get better at something or beat someone. I am playing at the Varsity level this year and starting on defense. I have been putting time into developing my stick skills on a bounce back and wall, and hope to better myself as a player this season. I pride myself on working outside of practice to raise myself to the highest level I can. I view myself as a strong player who can create turnovers to create opportunities for my team. I played soccer for 7 years, but I decided to try field hockey and lacrosse my sophomore year. I really enjoyed lacrosse and found it easy to pick up after playing soccer. I think my strengths are tackles and ground balls because of my speed. For both field hockey and lacrosse the first season I played I earned the Defender Of The Year Award. Academically I strive for almost all A's and take classes to challenging myself and learn new things everyday. I am interested in engineering, math and sciences.
