Playing baseball is the highlight of any day. I absolutely love playing the game. When I watch a college game on TV, I see a bunch of kids playing the game that they love and having the time of their lives. I want to experience that life. I am not afraid to push myself as hard as I can to find my limits and then work hard to exceed them. I have never been accused of not putting in enough effort or giving up. Every swing on a tee is a chance to improve my hitting. Every ground ball off a fungo is an opportunity to correct mistakes so I don't make them in a game. Every pitch is a chance to get your team closer to a win, no matter if your hitting or fielding. A team only works if all parts of the team do their part. No matter my part, weather it's cheering from the top step of the dugout, or starting the game, I will do it to the best of my ability. If the best of my ability isn't good enough, I will work day and night until it is good enough and better than good enough. No matter how good I think I am, I know there is always someone better than me. I know that my coaches are here to help me become the best that I can be. I always listen to my coaches advice to help me improve my skills. However, no matter how good you are at baseball, what truly matters is if you are good in the classroom. I have no struggles in the classroom. I maintained straight A's in every class, including several honors classes. As important as baseball is too me, having good grades in school is at the top of my list.
