William Gabriel '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Will Gabriel and I currently live in Nucla, Colorado and I attend Nucla High School with a 4.0 GPA. I graduate high school in 2019 and I play outfield, first base, and I'm a left-handed pitcher. I play for Nucla high school in the spring, and I play for the Rocky Mountain Oysters in the fall and in the summer. In college, I wish to find a program that I can help out in any way I am asked. I am a very hard worker and am determined to be the best person/athlete I can be. I am a 4 sport athlete and have achieved all-state honors in football, wrestling, and baseball. I am very determined to play college baseball. Whether it be lifting every day,  throwing, or putting in work in the cages after regular practice for all sports not in the spring.  I also work on keeping my grades up so I can receive scholarships.  Many experiences in my life have built my character. I rose from humble beginnings in a small town in Colorado, and I have also wrestled and worked on ranches my whole life. My parents have always preached respect and helped instill a strong work ethic in me. I have encountered great success in my high school baseball career in winning a State Championship in 2017 and being State Runner-Up in 2018. I wish to continue that success in college and I am hungry and ready to compete in the grind of playing college baseball.
