Personal Statement

Baseball has always been my favorite sport. I've been swinging a bat since before I could talk. I am a Junior at RHAM High school, and play for my school and for the Connecticut Bombers based out of Hamden CT.   My main position is second base and I can also play short stop.  It has always been my dream to play baseball in college, and I want to continue to play baseball throughout my life. I have a weighted 4.0 GPA and contribute in community service around my town. I am also involved with missionary work in South Africa and have traveled there 4 times to meet my sponsored children and provide their communities with what I could.

What makes me different from other players is that when it comes to game time I have a different kind of intensity than others -- a drive to win that comes from a deep passion for the game.  I throw righty and bat left handed and am able to hit from line to line. You will never see me give up no matter how the game is going.  I have a lot of quality at bats -- you can see an example of one at the end of my skills video.  Also, I know my coaches will attest to the fact that I am very coachable.  I always want to improve my game.

Thank you, Garrett Fisher

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
