Ever since I picked up a baseball, I have wanted to play at a college level; in fact, my first word was "ball". From childhood to my teenage years, I have always played the game as it should be played. To me, this means playing hard, playing smart, and having fun while doing it. My goals as a player are to play at the college level while also learning valuable skills to be applied on and off the field. I do not look to go to school just for the sport of baseball. I also want to go to school because of the hard effort I have made in the classroom, the long nights at my desk, and the after school hours in the library that have led to my academic success. I want to go a school that will challenge and push my intelligence in both the sport and in the classroom to explore a career in sports management. I have been and always will be the guy to cheer on his teammates even when we are losing or when my own morale is low. I always look to make my teammates smile and pick themselves up. Even though I may not be the oldest or have been there the longest, I still try to have a leadership mentality, be a good teammate and lead by example.
