Jarred Kirk '21 Recruiting Profile

I love everything about this game.  The dedication, discipline, mental toughness, and resilience needed to compete are just a few of the reasons I love baseball.  My competitive mindset, team first mentality, leadership qualities, and strong-hearted spirit are characteristics that I bring to every practice, lesson, game, workout, and classroom I walk into.  This game has taught me these qualities, which I strive to live by on and off the field.  Most importantly, I love being a teammate, and take pride in leading by example on and off the field.  Team to me is an extension of family.  Education is a priority for me, and I am looking for an environment where I can be challenged academically and athletically and continue to grow as a person and player.  Although I have yet to determine a major, whatever I decide I know I will put my whole heart in my learning, the same way I approach the game.  In the words of a Baseballism quote, "The way that you carry yourself on the field is a direct reflection of who you are off the field. Believe that."
