I have played baseball as long as I can remember. My Dad would toss balls to me as soon as I could sit-up and I’ve played organized baseball since I was 4 years old. I fell in love with the game from the first time I took the field, and I’m even more passionate about it now. I love the challenge, the competition, as well as the life skills baseball has taught me. I am a sponge for baseball knowledge and work very hard to be a good student of the game. I’ve worked diligently to develop and sharpen my baseball skills on the field and have humbly had success.
I have a very high motor, a positive attitude and have been recognized by my coaches and teammates for my leadership skills. Because of these qualities, my coaches refer to me as a “Gamer” and my teammates look to me as a team leader. In my last completed season of showcase baseball with the Virginia Stars, I led my team in hitting with a .385 BA while starting in the outfield. I take my “can do” attitude and high motor to the classroom at Washington, DC’s Gonzaga College High School (WCAC), where I am currently a sophomore with a 3.9/4.00 GPA (including multiple honors courses). My college goals are to play collegiate baseball, to further develop my skills, to contribute to my team’s success, and to major in business, with an emphasis on sports marketing. I’m also looking forward to making lifelong friends with my college teammates like I have done with teammates at every level.
