My goal is to compete as an elite pitcher at the D1 level and beyond. This goal to be elite travels with me into the classroom, where I work hard to maintain a high GPA. I am a joyful, diligent, resilient worker on the diamond as well as in school. I put my all into every practice and game and never stop competing. I want to elevate to my highest capacity on and off the field, and baseball is the tool I want to use to do so. One of my best assets on the field is my coachability. If a coach gives me a tip or drill I learn from it and implement it immediately.
In the off-season, I am working to improve my strength and hitting skills. I am lifting and doing Driveline in order to be a well-rounded athlete. I am an early-to-bed, early-to-rise person, and my goal is to be highly conditioned for the start of every season.
When I am not playing baseball or in school, I enjoy playing golf, coaching baseball at Homerun Baseball Camp, and writing for my school newspaper, the Beacon. I am also a part of the leadership program at my school. This year, my goals are to raise my GPA to at least a 4.0 and to become a junior editor for the paper. On the field, I will continue to elevate by making the varsity team and doing whatever it takes to help my team get back to the state championship after making it last year.
This summer I look forward to playing with Virginia Stars this fall.
