As a baseball player, my biggest strength is my speed. I run a 6.7 60 yard dash and in games, I try to utilize my speed to help my team win. I bat leadoff for a majority of the teams I play on since I am good at getting on base and using my legs to get into scoring position. In addition, my speed can be rather bothersome for opposing teams when I am playing the outfield. I can cover a lot of ground when playing the outfield and it can make a big difference in some games.

Yes. Beginning in middle school, whenever available, every class I took was either a gifted or honors course.Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. I have received passing scores on AP Calculus AB, AP Macro Economics, AP US Government, AP Biology, AP Psychology, AP Human Geography, AP European History and AP Capstone Seminar exams. I am currently enrolled in AP Capstone Research. Also, I am dual enrolled with the University of Florida and passed Introduction to Sociology with an A-.Awards and Activities
- AwardsI received a waiver from the University of Florida to enter their Dual Enrollment program as a sophomore. Since that time, I have taken and passed Freshman Composition I, Biodiversity and Conservation, Introduction to Earth Science, Principles of Sociology, Age of Dinosaurs, and Wildlife Issues. Between my AP courses and the Dual Enrollment courses, I currently have 44 college credit hours. In the Fall, I will be enrolled in AP Capstone through my high school. I will also be taking the maximum of two Dual Enrollment courses through the University of Florida and the maximum of four Dual Enrollment at Valencia College. Continuing with this same schedule in the Spring will enable me to earn roughly 44 credits hours during my senior year. This will give me approximately 88 college credit hours upon graduating high school. Additionally, I am a member of my high school’s BETA Club and National Honor Society.
- ActivitiesI am very active in my community. I have over 250 hours of volunteer service which range from assisting the Special Olympics to helping to feed our local first responders Thanksgiving Dinner to participating in beautification events for my high school.
