Hi Coaches,
I am excited to complete high school and move on to college. I know I am ready. I have played softball since the age of 7 and I continue to love this sport and everything associated with it. I believe it would be a tremendous, enriching opportunity to play in college. I'm certain the experience would create life-long memories. When I started playing softball, I was always in the infield. I was told I had good ability to read the game and know where the next play was supposed to be made. When I started with Apopka High I once again started as an infielder. Very quickly however, the Assistant Coach for the outfield, Mickey Hullinger, saw something in me and wanted to try me in center. Center field seems like it was made for me to play. I absolutely love this position. I have been the starting varsity center fielder all four years at Apopka. This is my final high school season. I have loved every minute of the game. I cannot wait to continue with this sport into college. - Jaelyn Diller # 6 "Dilly"
