Outgrowing childhood asthma has taught me determination, hard work and perseverance are key to be successful in life, education and athletics.  Getting to the state title game while playing for my Senior little league team was a defining moment in my life.  Achieving our goal with my friends and teammates, that I've known since kindergarten was a great accomplishment for us.  We are back at it this year hoping to get to the Senior World Seris!

I was a 3 sport athlete this year competing Football, Basketball and Baseball.  Very proud of my achievement of making the Varsity Baseball team as a freshman.  I'm very coachable and a great teammate.

PG Grade: 7Justin Bethke is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends North Fort Myers. Large frame with slender, athletic present build--very good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.27 seconds. Primary right handed pitcher, crossfire delivery with closed landing, uses lower half well through delivery. Throws from lower three quarters arm slot with compact stroke. Fastball worked 74-77 mph with running life to arm side; also showed curve ball with sweeping shape in mid-upper 60's. Showed ability to mix/match both pitches and throw strikes. Sets up to hit from even-based stance with high back elbow, drops hands into swing to get on line drive plane, approach is up the middle and to pull field, has good idea of barrel and struck the ball firmly for the most part on the ground. Worked out defensively in the outfield, moves in on ball well, short slinger arm action with developing arm strength, throws clocked up to 76 mph from the outfield.
