Playing baseball has influenced me to never give up and no matter what keep pushing. I use to watch baseball all the time growing up which really got me interested and once I played I knew this is what I loved to do. Through my career of baseball I have learned how I am good at keeping calm and getting out of tough situations. One of the biggest obstacles I had to overcome was not to get frustrated and keep my composure throughout the game.

As an athlete one thing I want to accomplish is to maintain grades that most athletes can’t. This will help me stand out and be more successful in life. One of my academic goals for high school is to obtain a certification by completing the Health academy at my school. I want to go after a degree in medical science but I am uncertain of the exact path I want to take. My college academic goal is to excel in the necessary courses to obtain my desired degree.
