Dayne Jurjo '21 Recruiting Profile

    I foresee my college experience as a student/athlete as well as a leader and an honor student.  Playing baseball at a high level has been a dream of mine since I started playing at the age of 6.  I am aware that there will be many obstacles ahead of me, but I am confident that with my hard work and dedication I will overcome them.  My high school academic goal is to maintain a high GPA, achieve remarkable SAT and ACT scores and being on top of my class. Athletically, my focus is to become a first-rate catcher defensively and offensively.  I like to believe that I am that “Go-to” person that teachers and coaches can count on no matter what the situation is. I also enjoy volunteering to help kids with special needs.  Although they may seem different to other people, to me they aren’t. I enjoy talking and watching them enjoy themselves.  With a degree in health sciences, specializing in physical therapy, will help me achieve my goal of helping others. In closing, I’m looking for an environment where I can learn from others and develop the skills to grow as an adult.
