Playing college baseball is my goal. Playing baseball for a college coaching staff that can work with me at becoming the best player that I can be is my dream. I have been watching ESPN since I was 5 years old. I can tell you that I like to win and enjoy a competitive game. I want to be the best baseball player that I can be. Some kids my age, fifteen, a sophomore in high school, will tell you that they are going to pick a college first, and will play baseball if they can. I will tell you that baseball is equally as important in choosing a university/college. If something is that important me, such as baseball . Thus, it must be factored equally into my decision process.
My Name is Nicolas Kythreotis, I attend St. John Neumann (SJN) in Florida. SJN is a very traditional Catholic High School, structure and discipline comes with the program. Sister Pat is our principal and she is old school. SJN is solely college preparatory school with demanding academics. Enjoyable is the numerous volunteer hours SJN requires of the student body. This summer I am planning to donate my time to Meals on Wheels. Last year my brother and I volunteered at Grace Community School teaching English. I am enrolled in an ACT prep course this summer. My computer will be with me even between rain delays.
I have played varsity basketball the past 2 years, and prior to that I was also a soccer player. I have learned from all 3 sports that I have enjoyed playing. I am coachable and teachable. At about 9 years old I learned that I could switch hit after being a right-handed hitter. I can probably play any position on the diamond with the exception of catcher. I leave that to my younger brother.
I graduate 2020, I am hopeful that the right coach/program will decide that I am a player worthy of an opportunity to make into a great player. The athlete can not get far without the right coaching behind him.
Thank you for your future consideration.
