2015 Game HighlightsMy name is Thomas Bodnar and I am from Orlando, Florida. I'm a class of 2016 student from University High School (Orlando). I have been playing varsity baseball since my freshman year. I received the Cy Young award as a sophomore and the MVP award in my junior year. I was named All Metro Conference Orlando, Pitcher, 1st team in 2015. My primary position is pitcher, but I also play second, third, first and outfield. My best characteristic when I'm out on the field is that I do not let outside distractions bother me whether it's in the game or outside of it. My body language is hard to read when I'm playing. The team can be winning by ten runs or losing by ten runs and my body language will still be the same. I'm very s erious when it comes time to take the field with my teammates. On the other hand, off the field I have a 3.5 GPA and I'm also part of National Honor Society and Student Achievement Leadership Team (SALT). My overall goals for college is to play college baseball and get the best education for me to pursue a career in Sports Psychology where I can help athletes get their head back into the game or just simply help someone in their daily life. I am excited for the next chapter in life for my family and I.
