Greg Fonseca '20 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a Class of 2020 high school senior at Seminole High School in Sanford Florida. Our team won the 2019 Class 9A State Championship. 

I also played football and basketball in high school but I've decided to concentrate and focus on baseball my senior year.

I love the game of baseball because there are so many moving parts and various ways to contribute to your team. Those who know me, know that I will play with the same intensity from the 1st inning to the last whether the team is up by 10 runs or down by 10 runs. My competitive drive and focus on defense are my strengths.

Outside of sports, I enjoy going out with friends to the movies and the beach. I also volunteer and participate at local religious youth groups. I've accumulated over 200 volunteer hours these past four years. Included in those hours are the various trips I've made to other states on mission trips to serve less fortunate communities.

I would love the opportunity to play at the college level. The commitment, focus and competitiveness I bring to the game of baseball cannot be conveyed in words.
