I understand the amount of work and diligence that is required to play college baseball. And that is why I am willing to put in that work and become the best player I can be. Playing baseball requires a good attitude and I work every day to have a good attitude on and off the field. I understand as you age up the competition increases and that is why I am motivated to outwork the competition and to have a positive attitude even in adversity. Even though you fail sometimes in baseball, even when I fail, I just learn something from it and move on.
Coach Jeff Sammons led my team for four seasons while I was age 13 and 14 and he offered the following comment:
“Isaac is the type player every coach dreams of having on their roster. Tough as nails, calm under pressure, and a great teammate. Isaac generally batted 1, 2, or 3 in my order, played SS or 3rd in the field, and was my most dependable pitcher. I always went to him when it mattered and more times than not he delivered.
Isaac has a true love of the game of baseball. No doubt he's one of the rare ones that is willing to put the time in to become the best he can be.”
