William MacCloud '22 Recruiting Profile

I am currently in the middle of my Junior year of high school. I am one of the starting pitchers on my Varsity team. I feel that even though Covid 19 has had a lot of challenges, I got stronger as a player during this time. During the time that teams could not play, I worked on my strength and kept up with my training. I am looking to pitch in college while I work on my degree. I am open to all opportunities.

For the academic side of high school I want to increase my GPA to at least a 3.5 and get a SAT score over 1200. In college, I would like to study business. My sister is attending FSU and that drives me to work hard and go to college.

When I was very little my parents put me into t-ball, and after my first season baseball is all I wanted to do. Through playing sports, especially baseball, I have learned that whenever I keep my head in the right place and stay focused on my goals the results will be what I want.  I have always been able to pick up on things quickly and learn through just watching someone, which is a trait I'm proud of. I look forward to pursuing my goal of playing college baseball.
