Ever since I could remember baseball has been the most important thing that I do. As a son of a former Division 1 baseball player at the University of Georgia, baseball is the cornerstone of the person I have become today. As an eleventh grader I’m a dual sport athlete, baseball and football. Everything in my life I think of as a competition and do whatever it takes to win at what I’m doing. I wake up every morning at exactly 5:55 am and work hard in the weight room to help me stand out from other players that I compete against in baseball.
I compete at the highest level you can play at during the spring and summer for my travel team. Although it is fun, it’s hard and many times there are things to overcome that help me dominate at baseball and also help me become a better person. I am a leader on and off the field and no matter what I do, I do it to the best of my ability and lead others to do the same. No matter how hard it gets I will push through and do whatever I can to succeed. My goals this year and in upcoming years is to be an even better leader and to work harder than everybody else around me to set myself ahead of my competition in baseball, but also to work harder than my classmates in school and make the best grades possible. These are the reasons that will help me be the best leader, motivator and player on your team!
