My collegiate goals and aspirations start with being the FIRST person in my family obtain a 4 year degree while playing a sport that I love, even in the hardest of days.
I have heard for many years from my dad tell me, from his experience playing college baseball is from high school to college, there are so many good baseball players. He would tell me if I made the decision to play in college, I would need to understand that the only difference between myself as a student, or a player is hard work. I believe I have been given the gift of being left handed, and can pitch, however that alone will not be enough to extend my time playing baseball. Working hard also has to take place in the class room. Even more so being a "student athlete" because being a collegiate athlete requires you to also spend time on your trade, with or without your team.
I am passionate about obtaining my 4 year degree, I am also very passionate about baseball and feel I can not only be an outspoken leader, but will work hard also to be the example!
