Personal Statement

I would love to play tennis at a higher level. I am very hardworking to get to where I want to be, and always open to feedback to see how I can better myself. I am at the upper half of my class and take very rigorous classes and earn good grades. I try my best to be a leader and to be a team player, rooting for others and cheering them on, and I often look to form friendships on a team.

Are you in honor classes?

Yes. I have taken multiple honors classes, geometry, biology, algebra 2, world history, world literature, just to name a few. i plan to add on to that list senior year, senior year i will be taking more.

Are you in AP/IB classes?

Yes. I am taking multiple AP’s over the summer to keep my mind engaged and this past year which was my junior year i took AP Language and APUSH (AP US History). I will be taking more senior year.

Awards and Activities

AwardsNational Honor Society and Beta Club, good grades, 2nd place in region and state for GISA literary trio. I also made a 3 on my ap lang exam so far, and maybe there will be more on the way. :)
ActivitiesI am very heavily involved at my school. I am apart of a sorority, I am involved in drama and the arts as well and every year we go to a literary competition and a one act competition as well, and we usually do a spring musical once every year too. This year I joined photography. It’s a lot of fun! I am also apart of an honors chorus at UGA that i love dearly. I’m in beta club and NHS and i also am on the debate team. I also mentor at GCC, meaning I mentor kids in the younger choirs. I am also a student leader in many different areas, a peer leader, student council, student ambassador, and a small group chapel leader. I am an artist too and have been trying to start up an art business. I play multiple instruments and also sing as well. I also am a writer and I am currently writing multiple books, learning different languages on my own, (french and greek), I also volunteer at local animal shelters and with therapy horses.
