Ryan Tencza '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Tencza and baseball is my life. I have been playing baseball all my life, and I have loved every minute of it. I didn't really have a reason for getting into baseball other than it looked fun. As I grow physically and mentally my game also grows in both of those aspects and it has helped me a lot through the years, even though I have not fully grown physically. A big struggle for me has been my small size, but It never interfered with the way I played because I always play like I am the best player on the field and it really did show. I may not be the biggest guy on the field but every time I step onto the baseball field I give it my all and act like I'm the biggest guy out there. That really showed up for me in my freshman year when I won MVP for my JV team while I was the smallest guy on my team by a big margin. Also that year I focused a lot on my school work and my education and it really paid off with me getting a 4.0. It would be an amazing feeling if I could further my education at any college that is willing enough to believe in me in the classroom and on the field, cause I will give it my all in both.
