John Walker '25 Recruiting Profile

I am John Walker. I currently play on my high school varsity baseball team. I start every game as the pitcher and normally get pulled during the 5th or 6th inning. Following pitching, I finish up the game on first base. Before baseball season, I played on our junior varsity basketball team. I had a fair amount of playing time. 

Prior to high school, I played travel ball with Five Star Mafia out of Tifton, GA. I aged out at 14. I have played travel baseball and rec baseball since I was seven years old. Upon entering high school I decided to stop playing travel ball, to focus on academics, high school basketball, and high school baseball. It is my dream to play in college and then pro ball.  Baseball has always been my first love. 

I am a dedicated player that strives to push myself and be the best I can be. I realize that talent can only get you so far and motivation and dedication are just as important. I am willing to do what it takes on and off the field to achieve my goal.
