Everyday is an opportunity to be a better person than I was the day before. Baseball is a huge part of my life and has helped me in so many different ways.  

Baseball has taught me how to become goal oriented, be part of a team, and be the best person I can be. I strive to be the example and show others the right way. 

I feel as if everything I’ve learned in baseball can relate to my young adult life. Responsibility has been the biggest take away so far. How you overcome diversity demonstrates what kind of person you are. Baseball is a game of failure and things are not always going to go your way.

I make a great coachable athlete. I understand the game and respect teammates, coaches, and umpires. I listen and learn and take nothing for granted. I am a student of the game.
