Rhett Davis '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rhett Davis, I am a 5' 8"  175 lb. catcher. As a Freshman, I became the starting catcher for my varsity team. The road to this point hasn't been easy.  I've spent countless hours in the cage and in the weight room.  Baseball has always been one of my favorite things to do. When I'm on the diamond I feel like I can shut everything out, and focus on what I love to do.  I pride myself on having a good work ethic and a never quit attitude. I consider myself a leader.  I have had coaches and fellow teammates tell me that I have great leadership qualities. During the summer I play on a national team out of Winder GA, called Team Elite Prospects . They have really made it clear to me that baseball is much more than a game. There are so many traits that I have learned while playing for them that I can use in life as well. As I get older and play at a higher level of baseball, it drives me to be the best I can be. That's one of the reasons that I want to play college baseball. It is one of the highest levels you can play at, and I love the competitiveness of the game.
