As a 15 year old, I can honestly say that baseball has been a huge part of my young life. I have learned many things through playing this sport that has absolutely nothing to do with hitting, pitching or throwing.
Playing organized sports, such as baseball has helped transform me into the player and person I am today. I am grateful for the strong bonds of friendship that have formed over the past 10 years all while playing the best sport there is.
I have learned how to accept constructive criticism, sharing playing time, being a supportive teammate on or off the field, dealing with adversity with class and to always give 110% . I will be forever grateful for these lessons learned through this sport I love the most and will reflect on these lessons throughout my life.
I hope to continue playing baseball beyond high school and look forward to any opportunity to do so.
