Daniel Taiwo '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Daniel Taiwo. I have been playing soccer since I was 4, and since then have been in love with the game. I moved on to play the academy level when I was 6 and have been playing high-level club soccer ever since. I am a versatile, strong, and speedy center back that specializes in 1v1 defending, vision, and playing calm under pressure.  For my club and high school, I play center back while also switching to outside back if needed. If you look at my past season stats and highlight clips and see a high number of goals scored, I have also played striker and center mid in years past.  I have played varsity since my freshman year and in numerous adult leagues, although it has been a challenge, it taught me that nothing comes easy on the pitch and encouraged me, even more, to work out outside of team practice.  One of my biggest dreams is of course to take soccer to the highest level possible and I will work as hard as needed to make that a reality.
