My name is Dalton Wallis,
My goal through baseball has always been to make it to the Division 1 collegiate baseball level. I have always wanted to play baseball at a higher level, so that I can see all of the hard work, late nights in the cages, late nights studying, and dedication pay off. I believe that I would be a good candidate for any college baseball team because I truly believe that my effort, hustle, and attitude on and off the field sets a good example and proves that I'm a good teammate. I am different from most recruits when it comes to leadership, humility, and dedication . When it comes to leadership whether on or off of the baseball diamond I feel like people tend to flock around me; many people could say the exact same thing its just I use my leadership to try and positively affect the lives of those around me. When it comes to being humble I feel like I strive because I am the first to pass the spotlight on to another teammate, and I am the first to try and change the subject when it comes to my personal athletic abilities or accomplishments. Lastly, I feel like dedication is my strongest suit because I always have the same mindset when it comes to anything competitive... that mindset is hard work and it beats talent when talents fails to work hard. This quote describes my point of view on life because, if I see someone better than me at a specific quality then I am willing to put however much work, time, and energy it takes to be the best.
