My name is Alexander (Xander) Kile. I live in Newington, GA, which is located in Screven County, and I will graduate from Screven County High School in May of 2023. I have played baseball for Screven County since I was six years old, from recreation and travel ball to high school varsity. I have loved the game of baseball ever since I was old enough to hold one. I have dreamed of playing in the major leagues one day, but first, I want to play in college like my Dad. I enjoy the challenge the game gives me. I have a strong and athletic build, and when I pitch, I am consistent over the top at a 4/5 arm slot. I am a dual-position RHP/utility player. For my High school team this year, I will be a starting pitcher, play outfield, shortstop, third base, and maybe some second base if needed. I believe in playing where I am needed and take pride in playing multiple positions, which has helped my team over these last few years with Covid-19 quarantines. I plan to participate in some showcases over the summer, play a few tournaments with College Scouting Bureau, and attend camps.
My mom, Jennie, and my dad, Terry, have always conditioned playing baseball to doing my best in school. I have always been on the honor roll and take honors and Advanced Placement classes. I plan my Senior year to do dual enrollment and continue with my AP coursework. I took the PSAT in 10th grade and scored 1100. I just took the SAT in December, and I scored 1170. I plan to retake it in the next month. I am willing to continue putting in the work to succeed on and off the field. I am a two-time letterman award-winning in Academics and scored a four on AP US History. I am taking AP Government, Accel GSE Geometry B/Advance Algebra, AP English Language/American Literature, and Economics Honors.
