Aloha my name is Higen Hatayama and I am from Hilo, Hawaii. Baseball is my passion and my goal is to continue to play baseball at the collegiate level. I am an infielder and occasionally play outfield when I'm needed there. I am always willing to play anywhere that benefits the team. I was raised with strong values and expectations that academics come before athletics therefore I have always kept my grades up and continue to strive for excellence. As an athlete I am competitive and committed to personal growth physically, mentally and as a team player.
