When I first started playing baseball at the age of 3, I immediately fell in love with the game. Since my first practice, I loved the struggle and competitiveness of playing baseball. I have been fortunate to have played on big stages throughout my young baseball career. It was through these experiences and situations, I learned many important lessons. I am able to stay calm in big situations and to trust in my abilities and skills. Playing competitive baseball at a young age has shaped me into the man that I am now. I learned to persevere, to stay humble, to play and work hard. Failure is inevitable in baseball. I learned that with these minor step backs always comes a major comeback. However this major comeback can only occur through hardwork and perseverance. I take great pride in my leadership skills, hard work, defense, and ability to use all parts of the field. What separates me from other recruits is the ability to play hard, yet have fun at the same time. Most importantly, I apply the same amount of work and attention to both the classroom and the baseball field. This work ethic has proved to be successful in all aspects of my life.
I am looking for a college with a roster filled with competitors that are willing to work hard and play hard everyday. A college that will help shape me into a better person and a better ballplayer on and off the field.
