Hi coach, my name is Aidan Groberski. I attend John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. I have been playing baseball all my life which helped me develop a passion and love of the sport. My dream is to play baseball at the collegiate level. Things that set me apart from others are my drive to never stop improving, on and off the field. I spend my free time at the gym or at the baseball facility working on the skills I need to be a better player for my team. I also believe that respect is earned, honesty is appreciated and trust is gained. I live my life by this in everything I do. Not only for my teammates, coaches and umpires but also with my parents, family, friends, educators and everyone I meet. I also do my best to motivate myself and my teammates during games and practices because motivation is key in a successful team.
My drive to never stop improving does not only mean improving my hitting, fielding, or even lifting but also improve my teammates and my education. My career choice is to be a teacher. I love motivating and helping my teammates on and off the field and also kids in a classroom. There are so few men in elementary education and I know my impact could be greater by being one of those few men. I strive to lead by example and have a strong belief in doing everything I can to support my team and my career choice. I feel that I am an extremely hard worker, very coachable, and eager to learn as much as I can about the game, and myself during my collegiate journey.
My goal is to find a college where I can continue my education and play the game I love. In the classroom I try and stay as focused as possible and work very hard to achieve my academic goals. I am a person that wants to continue to push myself mentally and physically to better myself either on the field or in the class room.
I am a good candidate for your program and school because of my extremely hard work ethic, being very coachable, my wiliness to never stop improving, and my respect for the game.
