Bryce Burton '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Bryce Burton and I'm a senior at Marmion Academy.  I play Varsity Baseball at Marmion Academy and we placed third in 3A in the IHSA State Series. I played RF and was 2nd on my team with most hits with a batting average of .321.  Last year I played Varsity Football at Marmion Academy but this year I will be playing fall baseball as I have a goal of playing collegiate baseball and earning a degree in Exercise Science. I have had some great experiences in baseball outside of high school this year. II play both football and baseball but am striving to play college baseball and earn my college degree. Recently, I participated in the Area Code Games Tryout with the Chicago White Sox on June 27th, 2017.  On, July 25th I will be attending the Top Prospect PBR Invite in Wisconsin. Also, I participated in the USA NTIS Baseball (Great Lakes Region 17U) in Cary, North Carolina from August 18th -21st.  My current GPA is a 3.2 but I take AP and/or Advanced Classes. I believe a student-athlete truly works hard in both the classroom and field.  I play travel baseball at Fastball USA in Schaumburg, IL. My head coach and trainer is Mike Ryan (630)247-5107.  He will be able to provide you with information about my work ethic, ability, and character.  My baseball numbers continue to improve and I have an 92 mph exit velocity, 6.94 -60 yard, 91 mph OF velocity.  I'm looking for a school that will help me grow as a person and player. My overall goal is to play Major League Baseball after college and become a sport specific trainer or collegiate baseball coach.
