Victor Encarnacion '22 Recruiting Profile

I’m a kid from the Northside of Chicago. A son of a Puerto Rican mother and a Dominican father. I can’t remember a time where I wasn’t talking about baseball. I have achieved so many goals that I have set for myself but the list is nowhere near done. I have so much love for the game. I take my duty on the field just as seriously as I take care of my job off the field. I take pride in being a student athlete. To be completely transparent, I wasn’t always the best student but I had a rude awakening. I have since then taken school just as serious as baseball. Lastly, I have been an underdog all my life. I feed off the energy of those naysayers and that brings the hustle out of me. I appreciate each and everyone of you who has taken the time to read this. I cannot wait to embark on this new journey!
