Colin Small '22 Recruiting Profile

I have wanted to play baseball at the highest levels for as long as I can remember. To accomplish this goal I put in work to make myself the best version of me. I'm a solid student. I've  kept my GPA at 3.9 or above at all times. The strongest part of my game is defense. I work on my glove and footwork whenever I get the chance. I stay pretty clean with my fielding percentage being .989 this last summer. Next is my hitting. I put the ball in play, and am also disciplined at the plate. I can bunt for hits well, and get down the baseline. My On-Base Percentage was .400 this past summer. That brings me to base running. I run a 6.9 60, and I am a knowledgeable base runner. I take extra-bases when I can, and I get big leads because I can get back. Lastly, I always make sure to stay positive. I stay loud in the dugout, so that the team stays in the game. Everyone has to be locked in to win, and I do my best to help.  I also communicate after almost every pitch with my other fielders. My main goal is to do whatever it takes to win. Anything to better my teammates and myself to win ball games is what matters to me.
