Spencer Youngman '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5' 10" 165 pound shortstop/ middle infielder from Chillicothe, Illinois.  I just finished my junior year at Illinois Valley Central High School.  As a freshman I started at shortstop on my freshman team, as well as playing for the sophomore team.  As a sophomore I started at shortstop on the sophomore team, and also played varsity.  Academically, I am a member of National Honors Society, as well as a member of the Spanish National Honors Society.  I took the ACT on April 23, 2013 and received a 26. My personal goal has always been playing college baseball at a high level.  I am a very fierce competitor both on and off the field.  I am looking for a school that will challenge me in the classroom as well as allow me to be a part of a successful baseball program.  The opportunity to play early in my collegiate career is a high priority for me and I am willing to play any position to make that happen.  I am open to any location across the nation; I am not ruling out anything or any place.
