I started playing lacrosse in 4th grade. I was the youngest on the team & I was always on the bench. Even though I was upset coach wouldn’t play me, I still was excited to be on the team, and I was always upbeat and happy for my teammates successes. I always have tried my best to keep that same mindset. Using that, it helped me become one of the captains both my 7th and 8th grade year. I was played in every game, in every position, including goalie. I would take my time before and after practice to try to teach the younger girls skills, but also how to be a team player.
