Personal Statement
My name is Ivan Magdaleno from Elgin, Il. I am a freshman at Elgin High School, 2027 graduating class. I started playing baseball at my local little league when I was 10 years old. My little league baseball coach introduced me to my primary position, catcher, from there I learned to love that you have to be fully aware and engaged in what is happening in the game. With my position as a Cather I am able to enjoy the leadership that can come with the position while following my coaches plan. I am not only very dedicated to the game as I only play baseball, but academically I have several honors classes and look forward to playing at collage level.
