I'll try and be brief with this. I'm a high school baseball player and student who wants to play college baseball at the highest level. Baseball is game that I absolutely love and have an extreme passion for. I didn't start playing baseball until my 5th grade year. I played competitive soccer through the sixth grade but needed to make a choice between one or the other. I wanted to continue both for a bit longer but the baseball teams I made were adament that I be in attendance for everything and with a pretty hefty travel schedule it made playing both too difficult. So I had to make a choice. baseball was the easy choice.
I currently play at Moline High School which is a very large school that competes at a very high-level. Our conference, Western Big 6, is one of the best conferences every year in the state of Illinois. In the summer I play for the Midwest Hitmen (formerly 29ers). This is a high level organization that plays in the top showcases throughout the midwest and into the south. As far as my position goes, I am utilized wherever needed, all depending on who we have pitching and who we are playing. The only positions I don't play are catcher and first base. The positions I play the most are CF/RF and SS/2nd. My metrics are constantly getting better as I am always training and practicing to get better and stronger. I'm a great teammate who loves to have fun and win. I'm extremely coachable. I make mistakes but I learn from them. I'm the player on the high school team who the coach can yell at, and he does, a lot. The most important thing I can probably say to any coach is that if I'm on their team I won't let them down. In school and on the field.
As for academics, my biggest goal is to earn a four-year degree. At the moment I am very interested in Financing. I'm taking business courses right now that have givien me insight on what I would possibly like to do later in life. My goal each semester is to make the honor roll. Aside from baseball I also play basketball where Moline just won the class 4A State Title. Next semester, start of junior year, I will be involved with both TEC and Moline ShareJoys.
Hopefully everything I mentioned above gives you an initial idea about myself. Thank you for visiting my profile.
