My name is Kyle Fitzgerald, measured at 175 pounds and 5'11". Baseball is my sole-passion athletically. Although, growing up I was a multi sport athlete ( Basketball, Football, Baseball, Soccer) and each and everyone of those sports has brought out my competitive nature and now I could be considered a "gamer", THE player who thrives to out compete the opposition every single pitch, and truly performs at their peak in big moments throughout the game.
Day in and day out I have a very tedious schedule throughout the school year. Taking an overload of AP classes my junior year made it even that more difficult. Wake up, go to school, and then the "grind". It is considered to be a grind but I have fell accustomed to it and now have a passion and love for the process of being a better well as a better baseball player. Roughly 2-4 hours everday after school I either workout, hit and field, or workout and hit and field. During the fall weekends those hours can be doubled that.
I am now a member of the Student Association and recently got inducted into the National Honors Society at my high school. My role in both of those is to give back to the community whether it be; tutoring, motivating, or mentoring kids but also community service, help run the student body, basically just being a positive influence and good character throughout the community.
I believe I would be a fine fit in your program due to the preparedness of a vigorous student-athlete life as mentioned above touching upon my daily agenda. Also, in the summer my travel team drives throughout the country to play great baseball and we hit the roads as a team. Staying with each other in hotel rooms, eating breakfast lunch and dinner; all without our parents' supervision only from our coaches ( Jared Koutnik, Pete Flores, Ryan Crawley). They aid me in this journey and have gotten and will get me more prepared then the "average varsity" player on some cases even then "above average" varsity player. I aspire to reach my full-potential and play ball for as long as I am able to.
