Nolan Kulavic '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello!   My name is Nolan Kulavic, thank you for stopping to look at my profile.   I am a 6'0", 200 lb three sport senior at Springfield High School.    I was a starting catcher, 2nd baseman, and pitcher for my school team.   I was the primary catcher for my summer travel team, also filling in a bit at 2nd base.    Baseball is my passion and I have played since I was four years old.   I hope to continue to play at the collegiate level.    And I will continue to work hard to achieve this dream.

As stated earlier, I am a three sport athlete, so I fully understand what it means to be a team player.  I know that it is sometimes important to sacrifice yourself at the plate in order to score a run.   Being a team player is everything.    I understand that while talent is important, it isn't everything.   I spend time in the weight room and give 100% in each practice, both on and off season.    As my parents often remind me, who I am off the diamond should also reflect who I am on the diamond, so  I make sure that my moral character remains high.   As far as my education, freshman year caught me by surprise and I ended with two C's for first semester, however, by second semester, I learned how to balance my social life, academics, and sports and finished strong with all A's and a few B's for second semester.   I've continued this work ethic and my current weighted GPA is 4.23.   I understand what it take to be successful both in the classroom and on the field.
