Evan Englehardt '27 Recruiting Profile

In college, I want to study something in the physiology or broadcasting field. I really want to be a FBI agent in the investigative/interrogation unit or a sports physiologist or a broadcaster if my baseball career doesn’t go all the way. As an athlete I’m a very hard worker and put team over me. The team comes first and winning is the most important thing. As long as we are winning I’m happy even if my performance isn’t as good as I want and I will continue to work hard so my performance keeps getting better and better. I will always put in whatever it takes to help the team win and to have strong performances myself. I feel that the harder you work for a team, the more they will work for you. That is what makes a team successful, having that brother hood and love for one another's success.  I also want to have a strong academic career and make sure my grades always meet my standards. I was involved in a car accident that plagued my whole 2024 summer and I was able to play only one summer baseball game. I broke my neck, back, skull, and ribs so I am beyond blessed to have the opportunity to continue playing the sport that I love. I am making sure this fall I get back to full strength and come back better than before the injury.
