My name is Jaxson Rodriguez and I have wanted to play at the collegiate level since the first time I stepped on a field. I not only love the game of baseball, but I love how much it has pushed me physically, mentally and emotionally. I believe playing at the next level will only further improve me as a player and a person.
I take deep pride in everything I do and that not only shows in my academics, but also in my relationships with my teachers, coaches and teammates. My coaches have always told me that I have a great work ethic, I am mentally tough and that I act as a leader on my teams. My character is very important to me and I know that I am representing not only the name on the front of my jersey, but also my family's name on the back of my jersey. Outside of sports, I am involved in my youth group, I am on student council and I am a peer tutor for students struggling with science, math and social studies.
I have a deep faith in God and believe that if I continue to put Him first in my life, then I can achieve great things. He has given me a gift to play baseball, it is my job to put in the work to better myself and give Him the glory.
