Ryan Mendenhall '25 Recruiting Profile

For my entire life I have loved playing baseball. I thought I knew a lot, but I’ve come to realize how much I have learned through the years playing. Currently I am a senior at Williamsville High School in Williamsville, Illinois. As an upper classman and a leader on the team, I am looking to help push the varsity team deep into the playoffs next spring. I primarily play second base, pitch, catch and play third base. My collegiate goal is to become a student-athlete and play baseball throughout college while continuing to improve my skills and knowledge of the game. In school I have straight A’s and realize how important academics are. I am very coachable and take advice from my coaches. If I have a bad at-bat, make an error, or pitch bad, I do not show emotion and stay mentally strong. Baseball is the hardest sport to play and it takes a lot of skill and mental toughness, and I feel that I can compete at a high level.
